The recent cold weather got all our asparagus, but I'm sure there will be more soon!Mollie @ Jennings Brae Bank Farm https://www.blogger.com/profile/16454841644255307846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5471690513446438187.post-7294029676142563562012-04-29T11:59:50.561-04:002012-04-29T11:59:50.561-04:00Louise - I will look it up. Jamie Oliver wants to save WV, so I'm sure he'd approve of us using it :) We also have a lot of potatoes to use up!Mollie @ Jennings Brae Bank Farmhttp://jenningsbraebankfarm.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5471690513446438187.post-56037199377275381682012-04-28T05:56:22.460-04:002012-04-28T05:56:22.460-04:00Pickle those eggies! We're making crepes tonight to use up a few (probably not eggy enough to make a dent on your supply, but also tasty, and great with asparagus). We're also totally hooked on fried egg sandwiches for lunches.K + A of Little Alexanderhttp://blog.alesandrini.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5471690513446438187.post-71007799323598730902012-04-26T14:08:25.434-04:002012-04-26T14:08:25.434-04:00I second Spanish Tortilla! Strata (savory bread pudding, basically) is one of my favorite eggy dishes and would be really great with your asparagus. You can also make custards or meringues... think what beautiful beaten egg whites you would have!Katenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5471690513446438187.post-40359853075013466292012-04-26T11:13:55.083-04:002012-04-26T11:13:55.083-04:00I suggest making a Spanish Tortilla. I love the one from Jamie Oliver. Your dish will be wonderful with such fresh eggs.Aunt Louisenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5471690513446438187.post-79155896539151826152012-04-26T08:31:21.525-04:002012-04-26T08:31:21.525-04:00Angel pie!Angel pie!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
