Happy Solstice!
We are in the deep mid-winter, but the light will be returning to us soon.
Here's a photo from a few nights ago. Farmer John is up in the barn feeding the cows. I'm sure he'll be excited to have more light for the evening chores.
Also, happy birthday to K over at Little Alexander!
We celebrated by respecting the indoor and outdoor fauna at the new conservtory here. Beautiful ights and well done landscaping. Lovely art, too.
ReplyDeleteThis photo is so handosme and surely represents the life and responsibilities of a farmer. The JBBF becomes more and more beautiful as you and John care for it!
Are you sure that's not a stable, with a star above it and everything? I think you better go check out what John has hiding in the mangers out there. (And thanks for the birthday happiness :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not anonymous but didn't know what to select from Profile. I found the blog obviously. I love looking through this. I'm assuming the bridge isn't finished yet. You and John have so much energy. I know the farm can be a challenge but it sounds like fun most of the time. Keep the blog going as I think there might be a book here.
ReplyDeleteHave a very Merry Christmas
Aunt Diane (you haven't met me but I'm Joyce's sister from Arizona.)
Beautiful photo. Thanks for the pleasure of reading your postings this year, Mollie.
