Back to reality

Farmer John and I returned to the real world this week. We miss the farm all day long. But, I will be excited to see the students when they arrive next week.

Our last week of summer was spent with Migrant Farm-Hand Becky. We all worked on farm projects, hung out on all the porches, planned multiple upcoming trips (!), and participated in Jennings Brae Bank Farm Olympics. One event was the Badger Lift. Farmer John got the gold.

  1. What a hoot! How much does Badger weigh? For sure John gets a Gold Medal for lifting and managing this dog.

Hope you both have a good start to the new school year.

  2. I don't think it is safe to have wolves in the house. They don't even have to huff and puff to get at you!

  3. This photo makes Badger look enormous! He is a big dog, to be sure, but this is really something. Has he been on steroids in prep for the Games?

    1. Tari- he was a rescue, so we don't know his exact history. We think he's a Siberian Husky.
