The garden by the house is taking off. Farmer John dedicated the majority of it to early crops, mostly greens.
There are three rows of radishes,
four bushy rows of spinach,
and several raised-beds of lettuce mixes.
And I've been thinking about something. If I had the chance to do it again, maybe I'd carry a bouquet of Spring-fresh asparagus down the aisle (with broccoli, lettuce, and Swiss chard too!) But, then I'd run the chance that Farmer John might eat it!
Send some of that spinach down south little lady! Everything is looking so green! As time goes on, the farm takes on more and more of the old farm look - with MORE creativity than it once had - but the colors and sounds are the same. Perhaps you could share "farm sounds" on a blog? Love you two!
ReplyDeleteall of that is so gorgeous. I had dinner awhile ago, and it won't be long before I'll be sleeping, but I would eat any of that right now. Wow!
