Hooray for FJ's Pirates hat. I , of course, am a loyal Cubs fan (dupe?) but have always admired the storied Pirates, Honus Wagner on up. It was painful to see so few in the stands last week when the Cubs were at the apparently beautiful ballpark in Pittsburg. I wear my Cubs hat, even these days, so I felt some solidarity with FJ, even if treats lettuce like a hedge.
Bruce- Did you ever see this post? http://jenningsbraebankfarm.blogspot.com/2011/07/hay-day-2.html Glad you like the hat. We're also hoping for a Hawks/Pens Stanley Cup series :)
Great photo of the lanscpae of the fields/now gardens. Fun to see "Farmer Pap" doing what he loves to do!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Where are we going to pay softball?
ReplyDeleteVelisha- believe me, I put up some protest. The gardens won. Maybe after we cut hay in the other field we can play there?
ReplyDeleteNow THOSE are some gardens! What are you growing?
